This Diwali NFT Club — India bring an NFT contest for all the NFT enthusiasts across the world “Diwali Gift Card in NFTs” in collaboration with Aurora India.
About Diwali Festival
Diwali (English: /dɪˈwɑːliː/; Deepavali (IAST: dīpāvalī) or Divali) is a Hindu religious festival of lights and is one of the most important festivals within Hinduism. The festival usually lasts five days, or six in some regions of India, and is celebrated during the Hindu lunisolar month Kartika (between mid-October and mid-November). One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolizes the spiritual “victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance”. The festival is widely associated with Lakshmi, goddess of prosperity and Ganesha, god of wisdom and the remover of obstacles, with many other regional traditions connecting the holiday to Sita and Rama, Vishnu, Krishna, Durga, Shiva, Kali, Hanuman, Kubera, Yama, Yami, Dhanvantari, or Vishvakarman. Furthermore, it is a celebration of the day Rama returned to his kingdom in Ayodhya with his wife Sita and his brother Lakshmana after defeating the demon Ravana in Lanka and serving 14 years of exile.
About NFTs
The non-fungible token (NFT) is a digital identification that is unique, cannot be copied or substituted, is recorded in the blockchain, and certifies authenticity and ownership. In the blockchain, NFT ownership is recorded and can be transferred, allowing NFTs to be traded and sold. NFTs can be created by anyone with little or no coding skills. Digital files such as photos, videos, and audio are typically referenced in NFTs. As unique assets, NFTs differ from fungible cryptocurrencies.
